  The Church of Sankt Virgil is at the eastern end of Ratterburg close to the train Station. A notice reminds people the silence should be up held and it is a place of peace and prayer.  more »

  Klein en een beetje verstopt maar toch heel mooi. De muren in het hoofdgedeelte zijn mooi witgekalkt. En op het plafond zijn heel mooie fresco's. Wat mij bijzonder fascineerde was de bijkapel met de muur in grote ruwe keien en het prachtige glasraam. Onder de kerk is er een grot met Mariabeeld.

  Small and a bit clogged but still very nice. The walls in the main part are nicely whitewashed. And on the ceiling are very nice frescoes. What fascinated me particularly was the side chapel with the wall in large rough pebbles and the beautiful stained glass window. Beneath the church there is a cave with a statue of Mary.
