In the midst of the capital, visit the landscaped Stadtpark, home to statues of famous Viennese artists, as well as an opulent venue that hosts balls, concerts, and more. Spread across 11 hectares (28 acres), the park is filled with flowers and plants that blossom throughout the year. • And a park in the city center that is worth visiting, I loved it. A well-curated English-style park that conveys tranquility and well-being. We strolled here in the morning, and relaxing despite being very close to the center and close to the shops. Inside we were able to admire the statue of Strauss, a golden bronze statue made to pay tribute to an important Austrian composer. A stop to do absolutely!

  • Beautiful city park (thus the name). I walked in the fall and it was lovely. Lots of small ponds, lakes and statues. It felt safe. I did not like all the graffiti around the park.  more »

  • A nice park in the middle of the city to relax and enjoy some nature. The ducks and ducklings in the Spring and Summer are adorable. Be aware however that in the night, the park is full of rats, drug users and homeless people. On a long summers evening, the park can become pretty full and filled with trash, however this is cleaned up pretty quick.
  • I absolutely love this park. It's perhaps not the most beautiful but it has a gorgeous, relaxing vibe to us. On a dry, bright day just stroll around soaking in the atmosphere. Also be sure to visit the Strauss Monument which is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended for a relaxing break from your sightseeing.
