Wij zijn het museum buiten gewandeld met het gevoel ' Is het dit '? Een museum over 'het verhaal van chocolade'? Dan wil ik het gevoel krijgen dat ik in de chocoladehemel ben beland.. op zijn minst.. ... more »
We walked the museum outside with the feeling ' Is this '? A museum about "the story of chocolate"? Then I want to feel like I ended up in the chocolate sky. At least.. but unfortunately this was not the case. Through a magazine with guidelines you go to the various rooms of the museum. There is a different theme about chocolate per room. However, there is no logical order or structure. Personally, we felt that there are too few different types of chocolate to taste, which is certainly possible if the entrance fee is 9.50 euros. There's just so much more to do around the story of chocolate than what you see here and get presented. The shop, at the end of the tour, sells its products at too high a price in our opinion , especially if you already pay an entrance fee of almost ten euros.View original -
Was an interesting couple of hours and free samples too lovely. Then a nice walking round Bruge on of my favorite places. more »

This was a very interesting museum - especially to learn the connection of Belgium to chocolate, the history of chocolate in general, and how it is made / what the ingredients are. We just did the basic tour and spent about an hour reading through their various displays and looking at the exhibits. There were also a lot of artifacts / displays which made it worth going vs. reading online / elsewhere. Worth it if you have the time.

Fun learning experience with chocolate samples along the way. It was more history than I was expecting and I mean that in a very good way. Great way to spend the afternoon
