Old Bridge (Stari Most) presents a reconstructed version of the 16th-century Ottoman bridge over the Neretva River, which was destroyed in the Yugoslav wars. Considered to be one of the most typical structures of the Islamic architecture in the region, the bridge is reminiscent of the centuries reign of sultans, Suleiman the Magnificent, and the strength and suffering of the Balkan people. After surviving for more than 425 years, the bridge finally fell under an attack of more than 60 shells. Today you can see it standing again, revived, amidst castles and houses. • IF you visit Mostar old bridge Is a must see
  • Interesting place, watching the divers jump into the water below is quite interesting. The streets and stalls around the bridge are full of interesting surprises. Nice place to visit for 2 or 3 days maximum.
