Part of a chain of peaks towering above the surrounding landscape, Mount Huashan stands as one of the most sacred peaks in Taoism, Buddhism, and Chinese history. Pay a visit to the mountain and you'll find somewhat surreal views of razor-sharp ridges puncturing the sky, covered with hardy shrubs and trees. Follow the harrowing stone pathways and plank steps to cross these ridges, enjoying sweeping views along the way. You can even stop at several temples and shrines as you go. Keep in mind before visiting that the mountain features a number of hair-raising pathways; several involve essentially shimmying along a footboard with nothing but an iron chain between you and a drop of more than 1,524 m (5,000 ft). Carefully consider the risks of venturing off the more beaten paths atop the ridges, as they can be extremely dangerous. Adventurous place and you can improve your concentration while walking on plank route at 930 meter high. The cliff path gives access to temple the wall will definitely gives you confidence that any thing is possible with focus. great place to hike, be with nature, shout, take pictures, etc. a lot of walking . make sure to wear comfortable shoes with a good traction. some areas are slippery. also plenty of uphills hence train your heart before this journey. this is not recommended for those with disabilities (unfit, no endurance, weak leg muscles -will easily tire). they can use the cable car and walk for a few meters but not travel from south to north then east. not recommended if not ready. bring water. or buy water on the mountains. cloud covered mountains is not unusual. may find trails very heavily trafficked/busy with oceans of tourists. must be in your bucket list if you love mountains, good hike, and beautiful sceneries.
