Coloane, Macau

4.1
#2 of 31 in Parks in Macau
The small island of Coloane combines Portuguese architectural heritage with Taoist temples and simple fishing lodges. For centuries, the island was a sea salt farm for China; it became a base for pirates after the arrival of the Portuguese. The colorful village centers on the main square, paved in black, white, and yellow cobblestones. Hike one of the 11 trails of varying difficulty, leading through lush greenery and past barbecue pits and reservoirs of blue water, or head down to the waterfront to admire the view of the mainland. • Taste sniper! Macau Peninsula's bustling streets strewn with the building of a small town like this than the Cotai likes walking in the delightful. The town is also very special and much of what remains, but the whole town was the distinctive atmosphere of the spread. If you go on when you are not the person who looks like it will be better when a person is not I don't know.

  • It has a special place now, so can't stroll leisurely watching the streets and so 分karana Coloane Island charm. Go on a cold day to rarely see, Tam Kung Temple, Tin Hau Temple, Francis Xavier Church at trot around. I think the climate is good for eating meals, walks, egg tarts, two to three hours enough.
