Kun Iam Temple, Macau

4.5
Founded in the 13th Century, Kun Iam Temple is the city’s oldest temple. Lavish porcelain figurines adorn the roof, and other decorations embellish the indoor halls. The two statues inside the main hall represent the eponymous Kun Iam, the Goddess of Mercy, and purportedly Marco Polo, who studied Buddhism in this temple. History buffs won't want to leave without seeing the stone on which the Sino-American treaty was signed in July 1844--marking a significant agreement between two of the world’s economic superpowers. • I think the country with its many temples is Macau, China and Japanese. It's a great place to stay. It is one of macau's most visited streets.

  • I went there for the first time this time. I felt that the appearance was not good, but I was impressed by the beauty when I went inside, and made it to the place where i came to the side of every time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The old man at the entrance may ask for money, but it is a frequent sight in China, so please don't worry about it.
