Get away from the urban hustle and bustle with a visit to Lou Lim Ieoc Garden, featuring a mix of Chinese and Western landscaping designs. Stroll among lotus ponds and bamboo trees and admire the buildings and pavilions. The garden includes narrow pathways and bridges, as well as detailed stone sculptures. Spot the numerous animals that inhabit the grounds, such as tortoises, frogs, and various fish species. Check out the bonsai section and the small gallery with changing exhibits, and then claim a free bench and relax in the tranquil atmosphere. Lou Lim Ieoc Garden Reviews
Taman ini merupakan oase di tengah Makau yang identik dengan mal dan kasino yang sangat modern. Tamannya sendiri sangat cantik dan memiliki berbagai jenis tanaman yang segar, jalan setapak yang lebar,... more »The park is an oasis in the middle of Macao identical to the very modern malls and casinos. The garden itself is very beautiful and has a variety of fresh plants, wide walkways, and the most beautiful is there is a mini waterfall inside the park that makes the atmosphere more fresh.
原本是盧家大宅的一部份，現開放供人使用，是澳門面積最大的公園之一。採用中式庭園設計，就像回到19世紀澳門一樣，公園內十分寧靜。 more »Originally a part of the Luka mansion, which is now available for human use, it is one of the largest parks in Macau. The use of Chinese garden design, like back to the 19 century Macau, the park is very quiet.
This is a much better and much less crowded version of Suzhou's "Humble Administrator's garden". Very cosy. Must be even better when flowers are blooming.
ne of the places I really enjoy visiting during Chinese New Year is the Lou Lim Ieoc Garden in the St. Lazarus Quarter. This is the most beautiful garden in Macau and open from 6am to 9pm daily. This is a walled Suzhou-style garden that is very well landscaped with plenty of flowerbeds, pavilions, grottos, pavilion with a zig-zag bridge and a large koy pond. There is exhibition house in the back of the garden which is regularly used for temporary exhibitions. You can also find the Macao Tea Culture Museum at Lou Lim Ieok as well. There are lots of walking paths and park benches for those seeking a place to relax or even a picnic at Lou Lim Ieoc Garden. When the weather is nice, this is one of my favourite places in Macau throughout the year.
