Dating back to 1869, Mandarin's House is a historic residential complex built by Zheng Wenrui and expanded by his sons. This Cantonese-style structure blends Western décor into the architecture and is one of the largest former family houses in Macau. Although more than 300 tenants once rented home here and created poor building conditions, the government eventually seized the complex and established it as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Classic location with beautiful interiors. It feels like you're stepping back in time when you enter here. Lots of historical things to see and learn about. The gift shop is very nice and includes a variety of quality items for sale.
