  • It's a little far from Senado Square, but there are four World Heritage sites, so if you have time, please go. I can take a wonderful photograph.

  • This area is beautiful and romantic, especially in the baroque courtyard week. You can find churches, restaurants, coffee shops, bag shops and snack bars in one place.

  • Beautiful church, theater, buildings... and cozy cafeteria! Worth to visit while you are strolling back streets of Macau!
  • St. Augustine's Square is the second stop along the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) sponsored 'Crossroads of China and Portugal' walking route covering the area between Senado Square and Barra Square. This trail includes some of the finest traditional Portuguese and Chinese historic buildings and World Heritage attractions. The walking route starts at Senado Square and then makes way to St. Augustine's Square, where you find several UNESCO World Heritage attractions, lovely Portuguese style pavement and colonial buildings surrounded by traditional Chinese homes and businesses. While the entire walking tour may only take 2-3 hours and you could easily spend 30-45 minutes visiting the attractions at St. Augustine's Square; including St. Augustine's Church, Dom Pedro V theatre and Sir Robert Ho Tung Library. Attractions are open from 10am to 6pm, providing plenty of time to visit as part of your Crossroads of China and Portugal walking tour. Note: For more information regarding St. Augustine's Square and the attractions found here, visit the MGTO website.
