  • It ia a great place to see the river and the buildings. Not really much else to do other than using it as a place to view and take pictures. Very busy on New Year’s Eve.  more »
  • Lots of fun wandering around and looking at crowds and left-over history. There were photo shoots of clothing models in the back streets and lots of Chinese tourist enjoying their own country.  more »

  • Probably the most important and must-visit site in Shanghai, especially at night as the light nights are stunning. Although it gets pretty crowded and you may have to squeeze through to find a space, it is very worth it as you can enjoy the stunning Shanghai skyline, including the World’s Second tallest building. It may be hard to get a nice photo spot but patience is important.
  • Worth the stop for sights, people watching and a waterside stool. I recommend you make a point to visit at multiple times during the day. Morning shows off the working status of the river - barges and cargo. Evening shows off light shows from both the buildings as well as boats. A must visit for any stop in Shanghai.
