Paid almost 22 euros for two (in counting the paid parking!) for 25 minutes of visit is not really what I imagined but since each room presented the same thing, the visit was really fast! Maybe with a guide it's nicer ... to see!
Château très bien entretenu! Billets jumelés avec Marqueyssac. Musée du Moyen âge à voir. La vue est magnifique sur Beynac et Cazenac, La Roque Gageac et la Dordogne. more »Very well maintained castle! Tickets paired with Marqueyssac. Museum of the Middle Ages to see. The views are magnificent over Beynac and Cazenac, La Roque Gageac and the Dordogne.
This is a really neat castle. You can see for miles and notice the other castle, Beynac, across the river. We were there in mid March. There weren't crowds but also the many activities they usually have weren't happening. Very beautiful.
Must be the best medieval castle I have visited. Entry includes a well informed visit by a guide. Plus the view of the river valley is wonderful. We'll worth the visit.
