Musee des Beaux-Arts de Dijon prides itself on its large and varied collection of art, including the Dukes of Burgundy's lavish court and the famous tombs of Philip the Bold, John the Fearless, and Margaret of Bavaria. The collection consists of Egyptian antiquities with a rare series of Fayum Mummy portraits and unique Roman art from Switzerland and Germany.
