  • We visited the museum twice in two years (April 2018 and June 2019). The entrance fee has increased from year to year as Histopads (tablets) have been added. These tablets are included in the entry price even if you don't want them. The price (9.90) is high especially since the tablets are not of great use and do not bring anything to the visit. Some of the weapons on display in the museum are not original, it's disappointing. Let's talk about the welcome: if you return to visit the Museum you will meet smiling and welcoming trainees who guide you on the progress of the visit. They seem to do their best especially as the task does not seem easy (distribution of tablets, loading) continuously on the day. If you come back to the shop side, no hello, no look at the visitors. The shop is often messy and it lacks some items (difficult for example to have a size Tee Shirt or a girl clothing). Rates for some items are more expensive than in some downtown shops. At the shop checkout a cold welcome awaits you. The only positive thing about this Museum is the tribute to the veterans, which we saw during the commemorations of June 6, 2019. In conclusion: another Museum for commercial purpose and it's a shame

  • As an American military family visiting, great experience for all!! My six kids enjoyed it, they give you an interactive tablet and the kids loved it. We really enjoyed it!! Reasonable prices and a must to see if visiting the beaches of Normandy. Veterans of both the 101st & 82nd....have to see!! The area is very cozy, even during off-season (March). Stop at the craft beer shop in town for 82nd beer. See the church with the paratrooper stuck. Great visit!! Recommend!!
  • Excellent museum. Allow all day to visit and to look at the nearby church. Make use of the interactive tablet which is really informative and has fun extras and information - we saw lots of people just walking round with them on the strap round their necks which is a shame as there's such a lot you can do with it (including location-specific information, quizzes and finding info on the exhibits so you get a downloadable certificate, face in holes photos etc). All the displays and sections of the museums are really well laid out and there are plenty of immersive experiences. Definitely one you shouldnt miss on a trip to Normandy.
