Erected in honor of a major event from the country's recent history, Arch 22 commemorates a 1994 coup d'etat and remains one of the tallest structures in Gambia. Supported by eight columns, with a square colonnade on each side, the arch features an observation deck offering panoramic views of the city.   • This is one of the only historic monuments in the country, it's an important place to visit. Up high you get to really see the city.  more »
  • This monument is big and you can go up and see very good view and you can see over the Banjul city from here. Price to up is not much, but view is nice. Defenetly worth of visit.  more »
  • A fantastic view of the city. Offers an aerial view of the entire city of Banjul from the ocean, mangroves, port, bridge and neighboring towns of Barra and Bakau. One needs to climb the stairs all the way to the top but the view is definitely worth it. The night view 😍
  • Met a guy of dating app Grindr here, called Yahya. He seemed a bit simple, and had very bad halitosis. I think he was wearing a bed-sheet and a serviette from the local restaurant so I politely explained I wasn't interested.
