    It was such a great experience climbing to the top of this tower, there were many places where you could read about the info around the war and this memorial - I recommend it totally!  more »

    The museum tries to portrait the Germans as the victims of WWII, as was mentioned by prior visitors (but the management keeps ignoring these critics). It’s just so shameful that this is the main WWII....  more »

    Visit this place it has great historical significance for all Europeans. Make sure to visit both the high bell tower and the crypt museum. The entrance ticket is shared between the two and is reasonably priced. Bonus view from the top if you catch a sunny day.

    I don't regret paying for the lift, though with the construction scaffolding and dreary weather we didn't see very much while up in the tower. There are a few plaques and pictures. You can still get an idea of the original construction, with the ornate details and gargoyles. I'd recommend saving for a sunnier, brighter time if you can.
