Take a walk along the lake to visit Lighthouse and Bavarian Lion Sculpture at what is considered to be the most beautiful harbor on the whole lake. The 1856 completion of the harbor was marked with the lion statue, a symbol of the Bavarian royal family. The lighthouse, also built in 1856, is the only one in Bavaria. Climb its 139 stairs for a view of the lake and harbor area. Stop at any of the nearby bars and restaurants for a beer or an ice cream.     It´s so wonderful. A recognizable landmark of Lindau, Bodensee. And a day of visit with a boat tour on the lake will complete your day, sight seeing the Nature´s of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.  more »
