Museum Industriekultur Reviews
Ein Besuch des Museums für Industriekultur ist ein lohnendes Ziel bei schlechtem Wetter. The exhibition, especially the classic cars, are worth seeing.
Прежде всего: "небольшим" этот музей можно назвать лишь по сравнению с Немецким музеем в Мюнхене. Музей посвящен истории промышленной революции и техники в Германии и в особенности в Нюрнберге. The museum is dedicated to the history of the Industrial Revolution and technology in Germany and especially in Nuremberg. The museum has a very large collection of motorcycles. Motorcycles - not mine, but those who are in the subject, there for sure "hang" for a long time. But in addition to motorcycles in the museum a lot of interesting things. Pretty many cars, including the oldest, really resembling a "carriage without horses." There are several reconstructed workshops and workshops of different orientations, such as a pencil workshop (!). I liked that the museum pays attention not only to technology, but also to how the industrial revolution has made on the lives of ordinary people (because, probably, the name of the museum has the word "culture"). The museum has a reconstructed apartment of a worker, a "working" cafe, a shop. There is a reconstructed school classroom.
Cool place! Great collection of devices from different centuries, perfect way to present, some entertainments for even small visitors. Love it, definitely a place to come back
This not-so-little museum has exhibits covering bicycles, motorcycles, cars, television sets, radios, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, early computing devices, kitchen tools, generators , steam engines, video games, examples of living and working from years ago. So many cool things to see that will spur either your memory of you're older or your creativity if you're younger. Plus the whole thing smelled like gingerbread while we were there.
