Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park contains a magnificent marble mausoleum and the last resting place of the country's first prime minister and president. A tall bronze statue of this famous pan-African leader sits on very spot from which Nkrumah declared independence from Britain in 1957. Built in 1992, the mausoleum features a catafalque and a paved park area with fountains and sculptures. An underground museum beneath the complex features an impressive collection of photographs of world leaders with whom Nkrumah worked, detailing events from Ghana's tumultuous history. Good thing you can do with friends and family there is different pricing for none Ghanaians but entry fee includes entry to the museum and someone gives a tour of the exhibition. The memorial has a beautiful setup it makes for good location chilling and taking in history I believe at night it lights up beautifully
