Neve Tzedek, Tel Aviv

#2 of 6 in Neighborhoods in Tel Aviv
Neighborhood · Other
Established in 1887, Neve Tzedek flourishes as one of Tel Aviv's hippest and artsiest districts. The architecture of the neighborhood represents a mix of the Bauhaus and Art Nouveau styles brought over by European Jewish immigrants in the early 20th century. Though the district fell into disrepair for a few decades, an influx of young and creative settlers rejuvenated the area and gave it new life in the 1980s. Walk the streets and stop into boutiques and galleries, or sit at one of the many sidewalk cafes and bars.
