    I Wednesdays in summer 2019 at the Tower of Oriolo. We are in Oriolo figs in the hills halfway between Faenza and Forlì at 140 m high sea level. Last night I went for the first time at the Tower of Oriolo, Faenza RA, for a Wednesday evening for dinner - snack. The place is beautiful, a peak on the hills, green for the ordered rows, with the tower of about 1400 restored. At the foot of the tower a large space with tables and benches and food kiosks. The crate and kiosks are open at 8pm but I recommend going to the site at least at 7.30pm to park nearby and sit on a table overlooking Romagna, a lot of people will arrive. The menu is simple to be fast preparation, based on flatbreads, bruschetta, skewers, a pasta: dry passes, all pleasant and at the right price. Good and varied wines of the territory in glass or bottle. I spent a nice evening listening to live jazz music, amplified to the right volume. The tower can be visited and I recommend the visit. Don't miss the terrace on top: the view is unique and sweet at sunset or just after.
