Imperial Palace Reviews
great place to relax.go to the main entrance and walk to the east exit, great views on the skyline of tokio. more »
We decided just to walk around the outside, the gardening is fantastic and you see the iconic bridge over the moat. This a lovely non crowded place to spend the first morning after a long flight in. more »
I wasn't aware that the palace is normally closed off to the public and had the good fortune to stop by during a special public opening. Is you are allowed in, anticipate a long queue to view the palace and several key points. The buildings are impressive and well kept despite the years. You can get the sense of the miltary power of this location once you visit
This place is full of history and philosophy. Its a really great landmark of japan that make you really feel what japan feels like. Its the emperor palace with a stunning feel of garden. Really full of impressive object to see. It only open few days a year so you must do research before visiting. Very nice and well reserved. Very recommend to see if you are in japan.
