  • I came to Araki Shrine on the back approach of Fushimi Inari Taisha Chimoto Torii. The figure which goes toward here is sparse because it broke to the left from chimoto torii indeed. The festival gods here are dedicated to the three gods: The Great God of Aratama, The White Sand God, and the Araki Daigami. The mouth inari daigami is famous as the god of the marriage. Not only the relationship between men and women, but also the relationship with family and friends. It is perfect for those who have a single thought, those who want to get along with their best friends forever, or those who want to regain ties with estranged families. At Araki Shrine, they use the original mouth-opening dolls for prayer. It is a doll of a pretty fox even if I take it.

  • It is a place known as the power spot of the marriage. There were a lot of Inari-san. There are also power spots nearby, so it's a good place to visit.

  • Beautiful trail. Very popular with foreign tourists and locals alike. They ought to introducd an entry fee for tourists to reduce congestion
  • Nice little sub-shrine in the Fushimi Inari Taisha complex. However, the “Google Maps” way of getting there is a bit off, and for those who do not know how to read kanji may not be able to find it the “google maps” way. Essentially follow the maps way to the “destination” there will be a large Torī gate on the right, keep moving straight about 30m on the right a house has the map of the area and the real way to get to Araki Jinja from the area, rather that backtracking to Fushimi Inari and going up the mountain. Go 15m beyond the map, you’ll come to a “trail” follow that up and through the bamboo forest and you’ll pop out right at Araki.
