Enjoy colorful collections of flowers at Tokyo Metropolitan Koganei Park, the second largest park in Tokyo's metropolitan area, and one of the rare spots where no skyscrapers obstruct the skyline. With almost 2,000 cherry trees, the park also features spacious meadows, playgrounds for children, archery facilities, and 16 tennis courts. Many locals picnic, cycle, walk their dogs, or barbecue in specially marked areas. A bird sanctuary and an old steam engine with a car on display add to the diversity of the relaxing park, which also has many food stands and old-style houses turned into souvenir shops.     My family have a dog. We came here to make our dogs play. There is a big dog run. Our dog was very pleased. Here is the shade of the tree. Even with the sunshine we are safe.  more »
