One of the most beautiful places there is in japan! The waterfalls and nature is stunning. That’s a five star for sure! The only thing that brings down the stars, is the small aquariums where they keep the salamanders. No use to keep them like that! It’s not fun to see and if they what that experience to bee good. Then they should give them a big beautiful aquarium where you feel happy to see them. Otherwise it’s just a bad contrast to all the beauty of nature at this place and the small empty water container where they keep them. They should instead of let them be in the beautiful nature where they belong and first came from.
Not very big but there are a number of salamanders. The 2nd floor had some very pretty photos of the area. The walk along the river is very nice.
