  この周囲には沢山の古墳が集中しており、さながら古代の日本版ギザのようです。エジプトもピラミッドや墳墓はバラバラの場所じゃなく、王家の谷のようにある程度集中して造られていますが、ここ長岡京市の古墳も同様。まるで古墳の合間を縫って桓武天皇が遷都、整備したような都だったのでしょうね。ここは発掘調査も進み、沢山の埋蔵品が発掘され多くは長岡京市埋蔵文化財センターに展示・公開されていました。ここも都合、１００...  more »
