Step back into the Edo Period at Tokugawa Art Museum, dedicated to telling the story of the Tokugawa shoguns who ruled Japan for 250 years. Located on the site where one of the family's feudal residences stood, the museum collects a number of artifacts related to the family, with antiques from around the world showcasing their economic dominance and tastes, as well as objects related to everyday life during the period. Admire the artistry of the ceramics and calligraphy, the pristine, carefully designed swords, and the elegance of the furniture the clan surrounded themselves with. • There are a lot of battle charts, you can know the situation of the battle at that time. If you are interested in history even a little, you can enjoy it more if you review the history (battle) in advance. You can enjoy carefully.

  • 10-minute walk from Ohsone Station. This is a museum in Tokugawa Park. It was the first day of the three-day holiday, but some exhibition rooms were closed because special exhibitions were held the next day. There were some great items, such as the Owari Tokugawa Family's daimyo tools, but i couldn't understand the schedule for holding a new special exhibition from the middle of the three consecutive holidays. It was also frustrating that some people had been pre-opening special exhibitions, and that those who had finished the viewing had acted to interfere with the public's appreciation.

  • The Art museum which has permanent exhibits of the tools of the Owari Tokugawa feudal lords, such as Japanese swords and armour, tea ceremony utensils, and Noh costumes. Be sure not to miss the limited-time displays of the Tale of Genji picture scrolls (designated a National Treasure), and the China dolls and Doll Festival. Entry to the museum is 1.400 Yen. To get there take the sightseeing tour bus or the closest metro station is Morishita Station. (Meitetsu-Seto Line)
  • Was given an impromptu personal 2 hour tour of the whole building. Amazing experience would recommend if you want to learn about how the Samurai and the Royal family lived. Goes into great depth on things like how they drank tea and what kinds of tea and things like incense and how it contributed to the tale of genji. Super cool.
