    Super nice drive up to the onsen resort and the shrine. Lots of local lore, and an incredibly haunting place, especially those gizo statues at the bottom of the valley. Breathtaking.  more »

    If you go to Nasu Onsen, let's go to Onsen Shrine. As its name implies, Onsen means hot spring. The history of Onsen Shrine started around 900, very historical shrine. It is crowded with the first visit to New Year 's Day. Snow shrine is beautiful, people worship purely, the smell of hot springs is mysterious.
