  • This house had over 30 rooms and a good number are part of the visit. Of particular interest are the kitchen, some of the furnishings and a room displaying the dowry of a young bride.  more »
  • It was a pretty big house with about 30 rooms, and the exhibition conditions that I could imagine living at that time were very beautiful. The local elementary school students seem to experience the old life here once in a while, and I felt that it was wonderful to be able to blend into the everyday. There was only two hours, so I was not able to see too much detail because I had to go around early, next time, at least half a day is the area that I want to spend slowly over.

  • The entrance fee was 500 yen, I enjoyed it terribly. It is a house donated by the owner, but it is an exhibition of tableware and Trousseau tools suitable for the hospitality unique to merchant. It was reproduced neatly from the kitchen to the drawing-room. The underground safe is also visible and you can enjoy it.
