Quite difficult to get to, you'll need to take a taxi from hodachi station which is 3,900 yen there and another 3,900 back but it's a fantastic little place with a performance showing the namahage festivities. The staff are extremely helpful and there is a gentleman inside who carves the namahage masks from cedar wood inside the museum. If you want to walk there from the station I wouldn't try it. It's 2 hours along motorways so not the best idea.
Brilliant fun look at a little known part of Japanese culture
