  • Nice, quiet area.
  • It was the god of the shrine who monopolized the is Korean Perilla (sesame) in the Middle Ages. The "Hyogo Kita Seki Irifune-no-Sho book" which describes the details of the ship which entered the Hyogo Kita-Seki (current Kobe city) in Bunyasu two years (1445) has the description of Sesame, Yamazaki, and Yamazaki sesame seeds in the cargo of the ship passing through here, but "Yamazaki" is thought to be is Korean perilla. The area where the sesame was integrated was Yamazaki, a city along the Yodogawa River. Yamazaki was also drawn to the "Yamazaki cross-linked map", and various goods such as is Korean perilla were brought from the Sanuki, and it was carried to Kyoto from here. And, it was a god person of the shrine of this shrine that the commodity was treated.
