  Was told by our guide that this is the best house to visit from the 3 available for tourists. Wasn't crowded and I could get to all 4 floors. Though it's a bit too hot inside since they burnt fires...  more »

  I loved it! It smelled smoky because they really use wood to boiled tea and to warm the whole room. To second till fourth floor, I managed to see a lot of sewing and working tools. Also the interior of Gassho style house. They provide hot wild grass tea for us to drink, feels like visiting grandma’s house. Entrance fee:¥300.

  A great place to visit in a season when it is not crowded. Good legs can prove helpful to get to the upper floors inside the roof. Extremely interesting.
