  • The ruins of the castle of Mr. Akai who ruled the whole area. It's pretty hard to climb, don't lick too much, with sneakers or shoes that are easy to walk in. It is three or forty minutes in middle age with insufficient exercise. The road that says 200 to 100 meters remaining was the most tough. When you go to the top, you can see the Tamba Plain and feel fresh, and there is a stone wall as a remains.

  • It is the castle of the red demon. You can go to the mountain trail right from the parking lot. However, a gentle route is recommended. Personally, I climbed the mountain by the castle ruins tour, but there seems to be a lot of people who come for the mountain climbing purpose because there is a thing near the station. Everyone was pretty heavily equipped (I was wearing a shirt and sneakers). I went through a steep route down, but I can't climb it without decent climbing equipment. It's not such a big castle, but the view from Honmaru is the best. Maizuru Wakasa-do looks like a river.
