  • Disappointed that some of the more interesting interactive exhibits were not retained in the make-over of the science area. Butterfly house great.  more »

  • This is a pretty great museum, especially because of its science area. Lots of very cool physics demo equipment and also a butterfly house. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The main museum is free but the science area has an associated cost of $15 per adult. Beautiful building. Worth checking out the second floor lobby area where they often have craft workshops.
  • Butterfly area can get extremely hot- recommend summer heatwave clothes and be wary it can be slippery. Quail are free roam so watch were you step. They have several historical items from many cultures and the science centre is very interesting and contains many intriguing objects and illusions. The staff are friendly and helpful- if you're lost you can just ask and you'll be right. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend you tip as they offer this all for free.
