The 14th century Tomb of King Kongmin survived a Japanese attack and serves as a witness to a royal love story. When the queen died, the king ordered construction of the tombs next to one another, with a passage between in order for their spirits to be together. While climbing the steps, take time to absorb the mountain scenery. The road leading to the tomb has statues of Confucius and civil officials. Around the tomb you'll notice statues of tigers and sheep, which symbolize fierceness and gentleness, respectively. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Kaesong holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Tomb of King Kongmin and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.
Tomb of King Kongmin Reviews
Smukt sted, med udsigt over bjergene. Et sted der udelukkende emmer af historie og fjern fortid, og er knyttet til den første kongeslægt der forenede Korea. Certainly worth visiting, alone to get out in the beautiful scenery and experience a different tourist attraction than the classic ' modern ' attractions in the cities. Be careful of steep stairs and regular heat in the summer months. Bring water:)

Justin's mom gave me the best night of my life last night. We tried a bunch of new stuff. Stuff I didnt know was possible or real. She did things to me I will never forget. But I made her do the walk of shame because...I don't do drama... I do-da-moma.. Also Justin...Leave'embritchesalone.
It was very pretty indeed. I think it is deserving of UNESCO protection but the one problem was other tourists barging into me. But that happens everywhere so I'm leaving 5 stars for the wonderful trip.
