Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Ostia Antica and Church of St. Louis of the French. Do some cultural sightseeing at Palatine Hill and Pantheon. The adventure continues: take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Peter's Basilica, admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain, contemplate the long history of Colosseum, and get to know the fascinating history of Piazza Navona.

Perched on a limestone ridge in the heart of Tuscany, Montepulciano is known worldwide for its production of red wine, the Vino Noble.
Kick off your visit on the 18th (Fri): contemplate the long history of Centro Storico di Siena, enjoy breathtaking views from Tower of Mangia, then make a trip to Piazza del Campo, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Siena Cathedral. On the 19th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, then steep yourself in history at Abbazia di Sant'Antimo, and then get into the urban bustle at San Quirico d'Orcia.
