Admire the elegant facade of Cathedrale du Souvenir Africain de Dakar, a landmark edifice in the Senegalese capital. Consecrated in 1936, the white art deco cathedral features two tall rectangular bell towers and several domes surrounding the main cupola. Step inside to see painted scenes of Jesus' life, stained glass windows, and four enormous angels guarding the three-tiered entrance. Note the sculptures of angels inspired by Fulani tribesmen.     A nice, quiet and simple place designed for praying. Have a white good looking from outside. Located in the middle of Dakar, and nearby lot of nice restaurants and cafes and there's a Lebanese one on....  more »

    Is a remarkable site especially for a Catholic. More than the beauty of the Church and of your decoration, what impresses are the few people who pray with intensity to our Lady. A demonstration of faith amazing and inspiring. Mass times are: Monday to Friday every day at 7:00 or 18:30; Saturday at 19:00; Sunday 7:30, 9:00 (transmitted via radio) and 10:30.
