  This was a lovely beach to chill and eat ... but I nearly got dragged out to sea while I thought I was simply swimming back to shore from waist deep in the water. The tides here are dangerous so take....  more »

  My favorite beach in Sierra Leone. Not as crowded as Lumley beach on most days. Always clean and the community have a good security culture. I feel safer here than at any other beach in Sierra Leone. It now gets busier on holidays but pretty much with the right kind of crowd. For me the only downside is the few meters of dusty road to get to the beach. Hopefully that wouldn't be a problem after the road is completed.

  Very beautiful but more needs to be done on the short distance going down the beach from the main peninsula highway. But added to that the place is much peaceful
