  • The architect Adolf Ruiz i Casamitjana designed an elegant gothic modernist residence that the bourgeoisie liked. It highlights in it the elongated windows of the grandstand and the sculptural decoration inspired by the Gothic temples, such as the gargoyles, snakes, etc. typical of this time, as well as the balcony railings, stone the first two and wrought iron the another two. In the upper part there are small semicircular balconies where the four Catalan bars and the cross of Sant Jordi are represented. All the opulent modernist buildings, within the so-called Cuadrat d'Or, represented the mighty bourgeoisie and the LLoren-Camprubí family were among them.

  • Many beautiful mansions I've seen in the Eixample district, each of the architects of the Barcelona Art Nouveau presents it differently. This with sculptures on the façade and beautiful balcony closest to Gothic modernism shekhtel. Even the Dragons over coat on window sills and birds alike. Adolf Ruiz i Casamitjana created it in 32 years in the year 1901, then there was the famous Rotunda and another dozen mansions. One of my favorite Gothic Revival buildings in Barcelona
