Patios de Cordoba, Cordoba

4.5
Patios de Cordoba maintains an architectural heritage dating back to the city's Roman period. Ancient inhabitants realized that an inner courtyard featuring a fountain provided relief from the region's hot, dry climate. The Moors improved on the design by adding flowers to the courtyards. Numerous areas of Córdoba still display these courtyards as they were hundreds of years ago, but you'll find the largest concentration of them in the district of Alcázar Viejo. Many residents keep their courtyards open to the public, so pop into a few and admire the displays of colorful flowers spilling over the backdrop of white-walled houses. • Overnight in a house with Cordoba patio, is the best place for sunrise by sucking the smell of the flowers of the region and contemplating the joy of its colors and shapes, it is a fairytale experience, and fortunately you can pay a very reasonable price for a Room with large balcony to the patio, comfortable beds and lots of cleanliness and neatness in the rooms and bathrooms, as well as in the rest of the house, which are also usually very nice and decorated with excellent taste.

  • Very pleasant and poetic. The locals compete with each other to produce the finest sets of flowers and earthenware.
