Napoleon's Tomb
Although it's not the Little Corporal's final resting place, Napoleon's Tomb is one of St Helena's major attractions, along with Longwood House, where the island's famous exile spent his last years. The picturesque ravine was not Napoleon's first choice--he had preferred the banks of the Seine River for his grave. This site is both empty and nameless, because the local authorities and Napoleon's friends weren't able to agree on whether the tomb should contain his full name or just "Napoleon."
