Come for a night stay for a week. That kinda place, away from the it all, where I felt I could settle in and stay forever! The lil boutique hotel on the beach Tenuta was a gem and the sunset cove bar.... more »

Lovely beach but a dreadful resort (Tenuta Chatham Bay). Absolutely appalling lack of any service or management and if you complain the manager of the resort may use physical and other force to kick you out of the resort prematurely by denying you and your child of breakfast, bathroom towels, bed linen or beach towels. We stayed for 2 weeks less one day after having been assisted by local police to move to another property on the island. Never prepay a non-refundable charge to stay there as you will be trapped in a resort of horror for the entirety of your stay. Beach is beautiful but also full of plastic and other waste, which just stays there to rotten or last as it does not get cleaned up by anyone. If visiting from a boat or yacht I would highly recommend the nearby restaurant Sunset Cove at the other end of the beach. Friendly staff and atmosphere - complete opposite to Tenuta Chatham Bay.
