  • This is a very large outdoor museum which covers hundreds of years of Dutch culture dating back to when a Dutch farmhouse was split in half and shared with farm animals. The signage on the campus is sparse and oddly arranged. It is hard to follow the maps and the number assignments. The Dutch are proud of their culture and a large area in the visitors center is dedicated to a very well produced multimedia presentation documenting Dutch history from the Stone Age to the present.
  • This is a lovely museum. The ability to walk through the Dutch history and interact with it makes it something special. The old factories were still being used by staff in fitting attire and they eagerly told us about the old processes of oil making, wheel crafting and paper production. The grounds are also beautifully maintained and the windmills make it truly Dutch. Absolutely recommend this museum.
