Giverny is a small French village in Upper Normandy, best known as the rural retreat of the Impressionist painter Claude Monet (1840-1926).
On the 20th (Wed), admire the masterpieces at Musee des impressionnismes, see the interesting displays at Fondation Claude Monet, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise Sainte-Radegonde de Giverny.
