A popular holiday destination with world-class surfing, Biarritz has interesting coastal rock formations and stellar waves that make this luxurious seaside town popular with tourists and surfers alike.
Visit La Cote des Basques and Plage des Alcyons for some beach relaxation. Visiting Plage d'Hendaye and Les Gorges de Kakuetta will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Biarritz: Eglise Sainte-Madeleine. (in Port-de-Lanne), Chapelle de Socorri (in Urrugne) and Chateau Observatoire Abbadia (in Hendaye). And it doesn't end there: get great views at Rocher de la Vierge, stroll through Plage du Miramar, enjoy the sand and surf at Port Vieux Beach, and don't miss a visit to Phare de Biarritz.
