Situated along the Adriatic Sea, Zadar preserves a medieval old town that is entirely contained on a peninsula.
Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Fri): get some thrills on the water with a speed boat tour, then don't miss a visit to The Forum, and then steep yourself in history at Church of St. Donat.

Zagreb boasts a combination of Austro-Hungarian and Socialist architecture, but it is beloved for its outdoor cafe culture.
On the 4th (Sat), get the lay of the land with Walking tours, then take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Mark's Church (Crkva sv. Marka), then see the interesting displays at Museum of Broken Relationships, and finally see the interesting displays at Zagreb 80's Museum. On the 5th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the landmark architecture of Cathedral of the Assumption, then make a trip to King Tomislav Square, then partake in some friendly competition at Escape Room Enigmarium Zagreb, and finally wander the streets of Upper Town (Gornji Grad).

Drive from Zadar to Zagreb in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 34°C in July, and nighttime lows around 18°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 5th (Sun) early enough to travel to Dubrovnik.

Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
On the 6th (Mon), visit Old Town and then don't miss a visit to Pile Gate. On the next day, head off the coast to Lokrum Island and then add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour.

Traveling by flight from Zagreb to Dubrovnik takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus.
