Honolulu

— 6 nights

Big Pineapple

In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Visit Lanikai Beach and Kapiolani Regional Park for some beach relaxation. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Kailua Beach Park and Kuhio Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Waimanalo Beach (in Waimanalo), Ko Olina Lagoons (in Kapolei) and Byodo-In Temple (in Kaneohe). There's much more to do: kick back and relax at Ala Moana Beach Park, explore the different monuments and memorials at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, hike along Koko Crater Railway Trail, and appreciate the extensive heritage of Makapuu Lighthouse Trail.
