Guwahati to Amritsar is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from Guwahati in March, with highs in Amritsar at 30°C and lows at 13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Manali.

Drive from Amritsar to Manali in 7 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and taxi. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Shimla.

The city of Shimla spreads out across a ridge, offering views of Himalayan scenery all around.
Kick off your visit on the 16th (Tue): appreciate the history behind Monument Rani Jhansi, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Jakhu Temple, then pause for some serene contemplation at Christ Church, and finally gain insight at Gaiety Heritage Cultural Complex. On the 17th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: walk around Daulat Singh Park, then make a trip to The Mall, then admire the landmark architecture of Viceregal Lodge, and finally deepen your understanding at Indian Institute of Advanced Study.
