Guwahati to Amritsar is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Guwahati in March: high temperatures in Amritsar hover around 30°C and lows are around 13°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 13th (Sat) so you can go by car to Manali.
