Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Visit Anne Frank House and Willet-Holthuysen Museum for their historical value. Discover out-of-the-way places like The Jordaan and De Duif. Head to Les Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert and Appart N°17for plenty of shopping. Step off the beaten path and head to Domaine Des Grottes De Han and Cathedral of Our Lady. Change things up with these side-trips from Brussels: Belfry and Cloth Hall (Belfort en Lakenhalle) (in Ghent), Antwerp (De Koninck Antwerp City Brewery, Grote Markt, &more) and Old Town of Durbuy (in Durbuy). Next up on the itinerary: steep yourself in history at Grand Place, take a stroll through Lower Town, and take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral (Cathedrale St-Michel et Ste-Gudule).

The medieval town of Bruges centers around a canal, and the architecture of its historical district has made it a World Heritage Site.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Ghent City Center and Gravensteen. Get some historical perspective at Tyne Cot Cemetery and Historic Centre of Brugge. Get out of town with these interesting Bruges side-trips: Ghent (Graslei and Korenlei & Post Plaza), German War Cemetery of Langemark , Belgium (in Diksmuide) and Menin Gate Memorial (in Ieper (Ypres)). There's still lots to do: look for gifts at The Old Chocolate House, admire the landmark architecture of Stadhuis, contemplate the waterfront views at Minnewater Lake, and appreciate the extensive heritage of The Princely Beguinage Ten Wijngaarde.
